But TC shaving dieshaven't performed well relatively for lifetime, the shaved surface andhigh-precision controlled. To use polycrystalline diamond(PCD) for shaving is abetter choice. It has proven to provide a superior surface finish and improvedconsistency for different wire materials.
The lifetime of PCD shaving diesprovide 20 to 80 times (depending on materials) longer tool life than TCshaving dies. The long life reduces the **p time of exchange dies.
